Course Description: Paint Shop Pro Advanced ~ Cammy Cochrane and Alene Robinson ~

Our names are Alene (Brandy) and Cammy (Stormy). We are mother and daughter and have been working seriously with Paint Shop Pro since it was version 5.0 in the mid to late 1990's when we took lessons online from Lori Davis, the author of “Paint Shop Pro Power.” The program really became popular as a shareware program when JASC put out version 2.0. The last version that JASC put on the market before selling the program to COREL was version 9. Version 9 added a significant amount of editing tools and made the program a serious contender with Adobe's Photoshop at a much lower cost. COREL has put out versions 10, 11 and X2 and also added some improvements to the program. This is a 7 week course in Paint Shop Pro for the advanced user. For the purposes of this course, you will need to have either COREL PSP 10, 11 or X2. You will have one lesson each week for the first six weeks with the seventh week used for wrap-up and review. All lesson material is written with PSP 11 and there may be some variations if you're using 10 or X2.

Prerequisites:

You must have a working knowledge of your computer operating system and file systems.
You must have sucessfully taken the PSP Intermediate Course.
COREL PSP 10, 11, or 12.
Animation Shop - (Can be downloaded for free from HERE. Note: This is the version that JASC gave away for free and it will work just as well as any other version.)
